The absolute love of a mother for her child resonates completely through this poem. You're one proud mama and this is lovely to see. Your baby is cute as they get, well done on attributing so much love to her, in today's society this is becoming an increasingly rare trait. Your poem flows very well. Jo

Since I have a new grandbaby, I think this is a BRILLIANT post! hahahahaha Anything about children or babies right now, goes straight to my heart. *smile* I like the color choices and the pic especially. Good work. Good luck in the voting!

It is a beautiful stage of growing up. They discover things around the house and their bodies start to grow in real human functionality.

The little girl picture and the delicate pink background brings this poem out. The words tell the story of a girl being born to proud parents. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Nicely written. I always enjoy the repetitious alliteration. This style is neither short nor long, so make it easy on the reading. The last line that rhymes with the first line brightens the tempo of this piece. Best.

An absolut delight, this poem of yours.
I like how you compared the sparkling stars in the sky with your toddler's "eager eye."
Also her "gracing lips are petal pink" - so colorful and sweet.
I can *hear* her flip flops on the floor, shaped like butterflies.
Adorable... Just like her picture you used to complement such precious love story.
Too bad I don't have any more 6 stars to give.

Mystery author, what a sweet poem about your darling little
girl. I guess that isn't her picture, but it is a very sweet picture
that you chose. Children do look at things with wonder in their
eyes and they do light up our lives.
