A well-written 5-7-5 poem, after the winter we still feel sleepy and cold, then the warmer Spring sun are so inviting it immediately wakes you up and makes you feel alive

I find it difficult to comment on 5-7-5 poems but I liked yours as it depicted a feeling that a changing season does to almost any living thing in three lines and fourteen words.

Wow. almost metaphoric. I loved this piece. It can be hard to convey much with such a short piece. But this is very clever and well crafted

G'day Anon. Beautiful little piece and a very good contest entry. The only advice I would have is to add a picture because the others I have read today all have one. Having said that, these short forms should be able to speak for themselves without a picture and this one does it beautifully.

Thank you for your review and comments for my poem. I appreciate your feedback. I couldn't find a photograph good enough, so rather than use just anything, I'd rather go without, and allow the words to form a picture in the reader's mind instead.
