I really like this postcard image which challenges this reader from the Midwest to picture a single poppy amidst the driftwood near the sea.
Nice use of alliteration in line 2 to create atmosphere.

Ah, lovely 5-7-5. I love the brief haiku, Powerful gems for words.

a lone red poppy
blown against the bleached driftwood,
sea garden delight.

I feel the turn of the mood that makes a strong haiku... the wistful and pensive springs to a garden delight...
