I enjoyed this fun poem. It's seems meant to be read aloud and I did. I think you did an outstanding job with this piece. Good luck in the contest.
Wishing you well-

The art work is really
great in every way for
these words written
Spring time can bring us
beautiful days and windy days.
Winds can be gusty at times.

A poem that stirs the imagination, which is what all good poetry should do.A lovely tribute to spring. Nicely cnostructed without the use of rhyme.

I am a certified cloud watcher. I could sit for hours watching as clouds evolve. Great imagery. I find this style of poetry very interesting and it must be quite challenging. You managed to pull off a winner. Great job. Gretchen

Lovely poem for contest describing events of springs as dogs run and play. Describes nature's playfulness in vivid colors and sounds. We can indeed tell by sweet verses spring is here. Check mine out also dear poet. Good luck contests. liberty justice

Beautiful, I love the imagery in your words which could easily stand alone. Although the art work certainly compliments it.
This is certainly fine palindrome form. among the best of the best here.
After reading the entire poem aloud several times, I wanted to find the lines that had the most impact. These were the ones:-
empty, waiting for
dreams
They were very well put leaving the reader pause for thought, or dreams!!!
Thanks for sharing, and good luck in the contest.

What a lovely Palindrome poem you have written, Senyai! I love the light, airy feel that I got when I read your poem. Your poem really does convey a "joy" and "playfulness" to your reader. Your poem reads equally as well when read backward or forward. This is not easy to achieve, but you have mastered it well here. I think this poem will fare quite well in the contest! Best wishes for the contest, Senyai!

Hi Bichonfrisegirl, what a wonderful review! I deeply appreciate your kind thoughts and well wishes. My first palindrome was a challenge but much more fun to do than I thought. Not near as restrictive a poetry form as anticipated.
Have a wonderful Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day to you as well ... if you are a mother. :)
Your comments give me motivation to attempt writing a Palindrome some day soon!

With respect to quite a few other excellent palindromes I've recently read, this is the best, IMO, Senyai.
My one tiny nit-pick is the slightly formidable block format, and I respectfully suggest you create two line spaces - one before, and one after, 'dreams'. This will also allow the reader to take a breath, pause and ponder on your words, and also emphasise this is the 'pivot' of the poem.
I could be wrong, so I won't be offended if you disagree.
So many words to reverse and still make perfect sense with lots of imagery.
A sixer from me.
Cheers, Ray xx

You've created some wonderful images of spring. My Favourite is "painting cloud pictures". Your pen was a paint brush when you painted this poem.
Good luck in the competition
