Congrats on winning the contest, dear. This is scathing and brilliant! I love the rhymes and the intensity in tone. Really drives the point home in a witty almost whimsical way. Can see why it won...very entertaining and even cathartic for anyone who knows such people. I liked the random rhyming, though the first four lines seemed to have a rhyme pattern so it surprised me when that shifted. Surprises are good, though! I enjoyed the slant rhyming, especially eschew and spews. Using mantra is fun too and well paired with that ironic closing line

This was so appropriate for the artwork you chose. Each line addressed the traits of the pictured animal (I can never tell whether it is a donkey or a mule- there is a supposed difference), regardless you described the beastie dead on. It brought a smile to the end of a long day. Thank you and good luck.

My understanding about acrostics is that they are written in free verse form without need to fit a pattern. Thanks.

What does IMHO stand for?
This is a clever acrostic about stubbornness. THe illustration is perfect.
It moved smoothly until the last two or three lines. You might consider reworking it. (Just one person's opinion)
Overall it is an excellent entry into the contest.

IMHO means In my humble of opinion, a commonly used shortforn on texting. I titled it with the words spelled out/ Thanks for the review and feedback. I'll take another look.
