I read this poem and I really enjoyed it. I can relate to the subject of the frustrations of life expressed. It is a great free verse poem. You write very well with much emotion that most people can relate too. Thank you another wonderful poem.

This is a nicely written Pantoum poem about your yard and the frustrations of keeping things groomed. I certainly can relate to broken"lawnmowers" This poem made me smile. I never wrote a Pantoum poem and it seems you met the criteria so nicely. Well done!

What an exceptionally funny, witty, clever, creative poem that you have penned here.
The downhill devolution of a mans energy and thrust for life and giving up on his garden, lawn, birds, hedges and so on. Why? Due to the failing grace with his woman slowly but surely. How sad and pathetic he is. Exceptional. Good luck! Tony Bronk

I think you've been taking a crafty peep into my garde. Lol. I've even got the ants but at least they're not carpenters. It just got on top of me. Now it's a mess I just can't be bothered. Better things to do like writing poetry. And I like the pantoum form. It works well here as all the jobs crowd in on you and repeat their demands on your time.
