-Autumn already! We're just getting real spring weather.
-Glad you could get out and enjoy the sun.
-Good image and well written poem with good rhyme, imagery and meter.
-I like how you have personified the sun and given it a real personality.
-Great conclusion, ending with
"The pleasure's mine; your loving SUN"

This is one sunny poem
a ray of sunshine after a cold winter here
but autumn in Australia
Ironically, it's warm here as well
Excellent rhymes and interesting personification of the sun
Clever way of writing an intimate, sensual poem
"like two lovers newly wed"
You can always count on the sun
even on a cloudy day
He's up there shining away
Excellent fanstory art to match poem
Well done

A fantastic analogy. Nicely done. I appreciate personification of anything that is inanimate, haha. This was an enjoyable read. Slightly quaint somehow, perhaps missing a bit gravity, but then, that may not have been your intention. It sounded like it almost had a certain weight to it, but it maintained a bit of a two-dimensional quality that left it rather light in nature (no pun intended, haha). Even pacing and lovely rhythm.

Hi I. J.Fox. Thanks you very much for reading my poem re the Sun . I love to have a sunbake and couldn't let this opportunity to go by without a poem. So it kept me busy for some time while enjoying the warm rays. I wanted to have a light hearted, analogy of the sun and how it makes me feel. I love even rhythm and pure rhyme. Glad you stopped by Many Cheers Christine😀

Ah, Christine, this is another way we can relate - this poem is exceptional - I absolutely LOVED the read. As a Sagittarian, I am a fire/sun sign, devoted to the sun completely - I used to sun bathe as my preferred activity, nude when I could. It was not only warming, but it energized me to my very soul - this work is OUTSTANDING...

I've read a lot of great poetry, but this exceeded my expectations. I love how it was easy to understand, yet your words weren't overused and didn't cause it to sound bland at any point. It painted a beautiful picture.

I am reading this in (sunny) England!
I say that tongue in cheek because although the sun is now out and starting to set, half an hour ago we had a shower of hailstones!
Oh, how I long to languish in the sunshine just like the bather in the poem...feel the heat on my skin. It really does its job to make you feel better!
Lovely artwork to accompany this tale of desire and warmth and sunny days!

I love the picture of the sun beating down as around here it still feels like March. I like the poem as well, especially the play on words at the end. I liked the deep blue background color as well. Thank you for sharing.

This smartly written poem
bounces easily down the page
gently engaging your reader
and carrying them along to
the end of your write. You've
captured the essence of the
sun and one might think you
are a cat except we know that
cats don't write or type. A
most enjoyable read. no nits...Lora
