How wonderful it would be if all our written words were alive like fire. Too many times my writing is just writing. I like it when my writing is inspired by a Muse. Thank you for sharing this little poem. It makes a person wonder--can I do better. Good job.

I have Game of Thrones on dvd and have yet to watch it. I know it is suppose to be good. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Elaine

Dragons are magnificent creatures, but breathing fire is scary. I'm not sure I'd equate it with sonnets in air, although I like the phrase. Maybe hard rock or heavy metal would be more to the point. LOL

Always glad to see a post from someone who doesn't feel compelled to write two poems a day. I'm having enough difficulty doing one. This is charming. I love the description of the dragon as writer. He has the soul of a poet, able to breathe fire of sonnets. A neat analogy. Great work. Write on! judi
