Those of us who spent time in hospitals value the work nurses do, and also how a chat with one can be as important to a recovery as medicine given.

I make do without Zoloft, but I do take a low dose aspirin. I hope food will provide enough Vitamin C. That's an important function that hospital and nursing home staff provide--seeing the patients take their meds. When I was in the nursing home for 6 weeks to get therapy after hip replacement surgery, they were really right on the dot about seeing that my medicines were brought to me. Interesting subject. Love your picture of the smiling, helpful nurses. Great work. judi

You're very welcome. It's a big responsibility they have at nursing homes, seeing that the patients get the rid meds. judi

I am a surgical nurse and understand what you were trying to say.
Nicely done in a rant of happy pills.lol.
Great addition to your book

Good poem. I like the use of "what a bunch" as your acrostic phrase. Nice imagery and I really like the ending. Good job

Nicely done. Great image. I'm one of the few senior citizens I know who avoids medication (I've got good genes and fair discipline), but I, too, work with older folks and the lists of meds they're on astounds me. "Hopefully health prevails" indeed!
