This seems to be written in free verse and there's no denying cats take life easy. I think the message you tell is common for most cats. The poem structure is solid and tight.

Cats do live the life of leisure, don't they? My cat expects us to obey all her wishes. We always worry over whether she likes the food or wants to get brushed. How more leisurely can you get than just to look at the window and see the birds. Life is indeed good. Delightful wording and good luck with the poem a day project! judi

If I could chose what to come back as when I die it would be a very happy pampered cat.
