Wow! Such a powerful voice against abortion and compelling image and statistics.
The poem tells it like it is warts and all.
This is 'slap in the face, wake up!' kind of poetry...and I like it.
You are a great advocate for the innocent unborn at risk.
Well written in the Octogram style.

I saw a picture of a baby at 12 week gestation and the body was perfectly formed, the legs, the arms the trunk of the body and was identified as a boy child,. The mother had miscarried at 12 weeks and it was a picture of her baby as she was holding him in her hand. His body appeared to be about 2-3 inches long. The picture was shown to a young girls who was going to go in for an abortion, and when she saw the baby at 12 weeks, she decided to give birth.
I want to share the link to what you write here with a couple of pro-life groups I belong to, if that is okay with you.

I had no idea the statistics were so astronomical. Your rhymes and repeats are vivid and chilling. Your "crowned with thorns" comparison is quite compelling. Sighs- Joan

This is one of those moral arguments which I fear will go on forever. Your artwork here says it all. And if you want the details read the poem. I guess if there was an easy answer there wouldn't be a problem. These days there really shouldn't be a problem but to use aborttion as a form of contraception is really not on.

I stand with you. Six things God hates and one is the shedding of innocent blood. You point this out very clearly. My blessings to you.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, something happened when I was a very new Christian, that God irrevocably changed my mind about abortion and evolution, it's too involved to waste your time with, but I will write about it sometime.
Those statistics are staggering, significant lives snuffed out....murder, plain and simple. I've always said: your freedom could be somebody's entombment or prison, "freedom to bear arms" is somebody's child's death, freedom from shame is the only freedom worth apprehending, wonderfully scribed, well done, blessings, Roy

I must agree with this. There are situations where it is justified, but they should be strictly held to and not misinterpreted. Rape, Incest, underage pregnancy, high risk to the mother, a deformed unborn. These are legal reasons where a termination might be considered. But, abortion should never be used as a form of contraception. that is my view and one I will always hold to. Everyone has the right to think as they please, but this is my opinion .
Well done cheers Cass

This is a very good poem you have penned. The pictures speak volumes. I am so thankful that I had my three sons and they are healthy and alive. God knows what He is doing. Teri

I wholeheartedly agree with you we do not have any rights to take a life. An innocent unborn child have no defense. Where murderers are kept alive in jail to be humane.

I don't have a six for this wonderful message! Wow....the opening line is screaming to the reader against your protest.
"Lost promise of a child's bright life"....very poignant and impacting!
In deuto....there is a scripture that talks about the choice of choosing life and death and God ask that we choose life. You are absolutely are correct...that is the devil trick to say that it is a choice when God said that our bodies His is Temple. Remarkable work Treischel
