thanks for sharing this great little lyrical verse. It flows really well and I could imagine sitting listening to it being sung accompanied by acoustic guitar.. Do you put your words to music... you should... really enjoyed the story behind the words and the picture compliments perfectly. cheers and thanks for sharing. mel xxx

This song/lyrics needs no rhyming pattern. Rhyme just gets in the way and is cumbersome especially in a song. Very well composed.

It's a nice poem on love in simple and smooth language that does not strain the mind at all. I like poems written this way which do not require reading again and again to fathom out what the poets really meant. This is more common in free verses. Though your poem is not rhymed, it is written well in free verse.
