love the picture, and the poem goes nicely with it. You covered all the emotions of a break up well. I have been there too many times, I recognize, the pain and confusion a couple of my break-ups still remain with me to this day even though they happened twenty-five and thirty years ago.

Hello sweetie. Thanks for getting here and leaving this review, especially when I don't think there was any fanstory bucks on it.
Hugs,

Hi, Missy
= Another fantastic interpretation of the artwork.
= Sort of feels like we are in chains when someone leaves us, but the love remains one-sided.
= Excellent work, my friend.

Hi Missy,
well, this is not what I imagined an angel to look like... and surely would never want to see anything chained within a capture of much more than just the physical aspect.
You do know how to evoke the power of the 'pain' within a trapped heart... your mind composes it so very well... like all you have hiding underneath your smooth exterior, there is a deeper need to be whole to the passion that drives your soul... to love unconditionally and be loved unconditionally in return.
Yes, another truly beautiful presentation of your connection to both heart and soul.
One small suggestion... you know me by now, I spend time on everything I read... I read multiple times... and while I do know the meaning of your line 'Or someone else?'
What changed between us?
Was it me,
Or is there someone else?
To me, just feels more complete on what you're saying... hope you don't mind... as you know I do love the way you write... and maybe it's just me?
No matter, beautifully composed and presented... yeah, come to think of it, an angel like that would definitely get me into a load of tar to go with those feathers.
With our thoughts we create,
weak links,
James vx's.

Dear, James, I certainly see your thoughts on that line and will move to change it :) LOL I will keep her locked away so you never have to worry about the "tar and feathers".
Thank you so much for always being so generous with your time and reviews. They mean a lot.

You describe well that awful, panicked feeling when a loved one leaves you - I think the way you put it is right on, although I never thought of it that way before. They never do come back though, do they - and if they do there's always that grain of doubt.
Well done, my friend!

Hi Carol, no I don't believe they do :(
The chains are of our own making though...we must break free of the past in order to really see the future :)
Thank you for this lovely review, hon.

Thanks for the pleasure of reading another of your enjoyable poems. I'm not so sure about the picture though, I'm afraid that it might corrupt my innocent mind with ideas of . . . yes, some of those ideas. :-) Great job. :-)

I'm guessing this is about love lost. The picture is awesome, as is your poetic interpretation of this. I did enjoy your writing. Evi

Hi, Missy. Wow! This is a different slant on the theme of lost love. I would imagine it would feel like being imprisoned or chained up with a life void of a missing partner. Good job here all the way.
Bravo! Bob

I regard this as a rather jaundiced comment on a relationship gone sour on at least one side. The subject feels chained and imprisoned whether physically or metaphorically it matters not while the other half of the relationship has gone off. It may be that this is not a desertion for ever, but what matters to the subject is that she feels deserted yet somehow still constrained by the bonds of the relationship.
The short lines of free verse convey the sense of panic and desperation.
