I understand.
I too, have bolstered so many up the rankings with fives and sixes, and from some never received a review in return.
Your poetry is inspiring and also a great learning aid.
I am so far down the rankings right now I have thought of just
giving up...and yet I continue. Contests? Can't even get a vote.
You are published so clearly there is a reader for your poetry.
Rankings...do they really matter?

Ha,ha. Great Treischel. I don't think its the stars though, more the frequency and the dollars that post them high.
my last work 'I Am' had over 50 six stars even though I posted quite late in the week when all should have been used. Yet! My position stays unaltered because of the fact that I do not post every couple of days with high dollars to move unto the first page. If I posted every 3 days, I dare say where I would be in the rankings.
My advice, just keep doing what you are doing...mind over matter. You have improved vastly. Its a pleasure to read your work, charming as well as technical.
I am proof, you are a writer, my friend. Keep writing. The rewards will come from what you produce and we partake.
You are the master of Forms here. Your knowledge is astonishing, and I look up to you with Joy.
I remember a couple of years ago, you were a little apprehensive, but now we see the true colours of a true master of forms, and through those forms you delight us.
Bravo.
Have a good day my friend, and do what you do best. Write!

Well, I for one can CERTAINLY relate to tis profound reality....as I sit here even out of sixes when I need them, not being an odd coincident at all. My perception "for what it's worth" is that the pure gold and platinum guidance and wisdom so often given freely by this brilliant and generous author may be capturing less recognition than the majesty of his own works. Humm...could it be that many more often seek giggles, wiggles, squiggles of their eyes and ears, their sighs and fears while "knowing" like snowing may hold transient value, melting quickly without much taste, and the glitter of it all too quickly erased? Hmmm" I wonder!
