Judy,

This is a really sweet 2-4-2 entry and who is that in the photo
that looks so excited? You chose a great title for this piece, as
a Disney Cruise in the Spring is something to be excited about
and make one feel great anticipation.

Your form is good and you made wonderful use of those 8 syllables
to convey the "Anticipation" of the trip.

Great job. These short poem can be a challenge to write while communicating a clear story. You nailed it. With or without the picture, it works. But personally that is the cutest kid I have ever seen!

Now this is just plain great. I loved this 2-4-2 and it says to darned much in just eight syllables. The accompanying picture is just the icing on the cake. The poem stand alone just fine - but that look of delight on the youngster's face speaks volumes.

My take on these mini-"poems" is that they are poetry only in the sense that they pack as much information as possible into a dearth of words. In this, you succeeded in great form.

I am saving to take my little one to EuroDisney or Disneyland Paris, whatever its called. She is four and understands that it costs a lot, but I'm almost there!
