These are troubling times Mike and I just don't see it getting better. There seems to be a detachment with what we once held dear. Hearing Trump spout his xenophobic rant, reminded me of Rwanda, not too long ago, when the people went zombie and killed their neighbors and friends brutally, while the radio voices droned on,convincing them to kill the "cockroaches."
Doesn't Trump realize what he is doing? We have a generation now, of kids growing up without compassion and human connection, brains influenced by cold video games. It makes me weep. Missed you, cheers judester

I'm with you, I assume you are refering to Donald Trump-he is such an idiot. He opens his mouth and the most stupid ideas come out. He thinks he can do anything he pleases becouse he is ritch. I also know that people in Europe think we are a bunch of inmature people used to getting our own way, and also that we all have the cowboy mentality. Of course, I don't agree and when I go to Spain, I get offended if I hear stuff like that about us. But I must admit part of it is true.

Thanks, GBR, I understand what you're saying. My Mom and I watch a lot of public television, and have noticed how much the British T.V. shows cast the U.S. as the bad guy, and I guess if the shows were from the era of the last administration, I can sort of understand a little, but they're still making us the bad guy, and it pisses me off. Yeah, I'm talking about The Donald!

- A lot of people have been sending me emails that they cannot access my work on/from the Classic site.
- Not a favorable response from Tom.
- Basically, too bad. He could care less about us.
- If he is NOT going to maintain the Classic site, but he's not bothering to send out an announcement that our work is getting screwed over.
_ If he isn't going to maintain it, then shut it down instead of screwing us all over.
- I forced myself to start using the new site, because I figured down the road it was coming.
- I'm getting used to its--still don't like it--it sucks, but I'm adjusting.
- His customer service is in the crap-chute!
- Not smilin'.....

Being a Canadian I'm also privy to the actions of Uncle Donald. I see him as one of the most dishonest people on the planet and yet his supporters keep touting as honest. I guess swearing, spouting baseless opinions and calling people names is honesty in many people's minds. sigh. It's just another stupid opinion in my view.
Is there any hope for this planet at all?

Thanks, Gloria, and can I be perfectly honest with you? I didn't know WHAT I was doing. I just wanted to have it seen, but I guess I overdid. It's listed at number one on the front page. I just started pushing "pump', and obviously I 'pumped' too much! As for The Donald, I cannot believe that anyone likes his rude, egotistical bravado, and I don't think HE can believe what he can say, either!

Thanks for the six rating, June. I have to be honest, I'm usually a comedic writer, and I don't know a lot of the rules for writing real poetry, but am so flabbergasted by what's going on in politics, I just had to try a dramatic poem.
