This is a sad story about the loss of a son from earth. Being parted from family is terrible and the pain must be hard to endure.
The good side is that we may meet again. Life on earth is temporary for all. It is the life hereafter that is eternal.

Very poignant piece. Particularly like "they say you'll remember me...I say not as much as they think!" It appears to start with a tinge of bitterness but becomes more nuanced and forgiving as it goes, much like anyone dealing with their impending earthly end. Well done
