Awwww... I absolutely LOVE the ending of this! This says a lot about MY mother as well... it speaks to my heart! I so wish I had a six to just give the last two lines! ;)
I mean, the entire poem is lovely but wow, that last two lines just brings it all to fruition... ((((((((hugs))))))))
I just love this!
'No, my mom could never be a flower
She's too much of a garden.'
I love it!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review my garden; your comments are very encouraging.!
PS--I didn't know we could add animation to our messages---this would have been perfect for my review of the still-beating tell-tale heart poem!

photobucket.com
add the html link
it's really easy. just join the site and each image has an HTML link to the right of it... click it and it will momentarily turn yellow and say, 'copied' come back here and paste it into the space. it will show up in animation. ;)
good luck

Another lovely poem, and a tribute to your mother. I hope she receives a framed copy of this for Christmas. One year, I remember giving all my relatives a framed poem, and was amazed at the reception. Even my dour old uncle was pleased!

This is so beautifully sweet that it gives me the warm fuzzies. It has a nice musical quality to it. My favorite is the part about my mom could never be a flower she's too much of a garden.

Thank you so much. I believe moms don't get appreciated enough--and I was truly blessed with mine.

Love this one too. Sounds like you have a very lovely mother like my own. And it's good that you appreciate her and I bet she is more than proud of these poems.

That is so true. I have been writing since I was 7 and my mom saved copies of all my work. I am so pleased that you also like this one. Many thanks.
