Nicely done. That bond that does not break or bend and holds fast with us until the end of day or trauma right or wrong that let's us know that we belong. Your Ma!

Hi Mary,
something so calming about these words... I guess it's the feeling of being swaddled in the warmth of an unconditional love.
Quite like the rhythm the Minute syllables create... there's a real dance in the tune... and when the words have substance, such as yours, it's a real pleasure to read... beautiful job, beautiful presentation... and all the very best in this contest!
With our thoughts we create,
a feeling of forever,
James vx's.

Good luck in the contest, Mary. I am not really sure of the rules but I have reviewed a couple. This is the sort of thing I would like to see written near my child's bed.
Best wishes,
Mary

Mary;
-everything was going so smoothly and then it seemed like your last two lines was somewhat forced or strained in their rhyming. Or that is just my opinion.
-I like your writing very much is it it was very entertaining and your rhyming was continued into the meaning and concept of each line therefore making the rhythm to flow smoothly.
-Excellent rhythmic meter, timing, tempo and cadence which are all helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and very easy.
-Good luck in the contest and may the good Lord be with you forever.

I enjoyed your minute poem. Good job on the format. The presentation is great--the artwork, the word choices, and the plain color scheme.
I see no changes.
Best wishes in the contest.

This is yet another interesting and beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of work. I knew right from the beginning that you were talking about a mother. Mothers are certainly a wonderful thing. Unconditional love is great and it is fantastic to have that stability in life. Well done.

Simple words that go straight to the heart. Love the cutout silhouette artwork you chose to compliment the message. I wish you well with the entry.

Hello :)
I love this minute poem entry for the contest. I like what is about, it's true, there is nothing like a mom's love. My died when I was ten and I still miss her. She was very sweet and loving and there has been many times in my life when I needed her unconditional love. Great job! The rhyme is perfect and it has a nice beat.

Thanks Gypsy for your great review. I am sorry to hear about the age you were when your Mother died. This must have had a big effect on you growing up.

Yes, it did have a very negative effect. My father remarried after five years and the woman was a real life- evil stepmother, totally the opposite of my sweet and loving mom. After a year, she made my dad choose between us kids or her, my dad chose her so we were on our own. I was 15. But something came out of it. My mother's sister lived in the USA and she invited me to live with her, and that is how I came to the USA. :)

Your Aunt was your fairy Godmother, I bet you are a stronger person because of it all. Mary x
