While teasing you with delicious promises of his devotion, his lust
Then when he has you ready to be the fool for love
he'll send you a bill for the broken heart he's left behind
Sounds quite a lot like me. Unintentional for the hurting part, but true to trying to help put hope back into hearts that had lost all hope of love. If this is me and I have hurt you, I am deeply sorry

This is a great poem. The message is strong, and you expressed it well. Social media is a curse for some things like you described. Good job on the presentation--the color scheme, the artwork, and your choice of precise words.

I've been away for a while, busy with work and other things. I think I needed a break, but will ease back over the next few weeks. Not all online people are bad. I met my partner in a chat room and we are now happily together for more than 16 years, but yes, one has to be very careful. Good job.

yeah, I guess social media has opened up a easier avenue for the deceivers, the manipulators, the sociopaths that reek havoc on vulnerable hearts and bank accounts... and yes, the collectors are everywhere, just lying in wait for the bait to be taken.
See in your notes, you were one of these unfortunate marks... yeah, it makes me feel sick in depths of my stomach that someone could play with someone else's heart in that fashion... I just hope it as your poem says... turn the table-Karma's a bitch... well not really, just a beautiful woman's heart scorned.
Really hope everything turned out great for you and you found that lasting love you where looking for... everyone deserves that.
Thanks for sharing such a personal and painful journey... it is a great construction with a very lingering story attached... yeah, really makes you sit back and wonder.

But, and this is an important, but, There are exceptions. My second husband and I met on the Internet, and I have never met a more decent person in my life. We are happily married. This is right on...I know a number of young women who keep hoping for magic as the experience mental abuse or inconsideration over and over again. Each time they buy the like, hook and sinker.
It seems to me that these sites have an even number of vulnerable people who an equal number of users take advantage of.
