I enjoyed this chapter Ricky with the insects "plenty and blessing" each their own kind of dressing. A cricket and a praying mantis. I thought the story was intriguing and humorous, and the characters well placed to express the theme of the story. That is twice today I will have wait until tomorrow for your next chapter.

An interesting idea. You state that this is a conversation, but it appears as if you are just talking. Your talking and what you reveal is very interesting, but I don't read it as a conversation.
I certain like the names Plenty and Blessing. There is so much that they can add to the story.
I am anxiously waiting for the next step "Where this Fable begins!"

Actually I am writing as the two characters are trying to work out a deal as the cricket is curious about the other side of the 'river Zin' and never tried to cross out of fear..
"But perhaps Plenty has a trick or two in his bag too?
