Oops! Wish I could say I could relate to this. Unfortunately, I can eat large amounts of anything and never suffer the consequences. Too bad this character couldn't have chowed down on some more delicious food if he was going to suffer an attack of Montezuma's revenge. You do a great job of describing how he's feeling (like a raging volcano).

Glad you enjoyed this little attempt at some humor after some of my recent darker articles, Quandry, for example. Just needed a lighter writing before returning to my normal sad, pitiful, and morbid postings, that I specialize in, again.

You're very welcome. I like the music lyrics judi

Just could not get into the story....is Johnny a mouse or a person....not sure...mouse flipping on a TV? A person eating something...a dried out bird? I usually get a chuckle from some of your postings. Sorry ol' man this one does not have that Bret touch,

Does a mouse flipping on a TV make sense to you? Some of my recent writings have delved way down deep, see Quandry for example, and this was written solely for humor. Needed to take a break away from the sad, pitiful, and morbid "Brett" touch. Appreciate your comments and support though. My special touch will not be on vacation for long however.

Still think you write pretty damn good. Do not always revue. But read a lot. Keep at it. Like I need to say that.

Brett,
That story is sick.....pun intended.
I have known non health Red Necks who wool do just what your moron in the story did with the.
There was tees two hill billies walking alone a dirt road, when one of them sapped on something that squished thou his toes.
He topped and picked it out and gave it the finger test to determine what he stepped in. Gave it to his friend for the finger test, together one could tell what it was, so...
....the gave it the smell test. Each one gave it the smell test.
"Oh man-o-good berries, that smells terrible" Only on set left, the taste test.
Each hillbilly stuck his tongue out and took a lick, And boy-o- chigger fly agreed it was the worst tasting sruff they had eve tasted.
They finally thou it on the ground and as they walked on and said to each other;
"Man-0-skunk-tail" said the hill Billy who stepped in glob,
"I'm sure glad I didn't step in that stuff.

Enjoyed your little story. Have known some Rednecks who would do something like that. Your comments and support always appreciated.

Yea, I can say that I've been there too.
I enjoyed this story even though it is told in narration.
You did an excellent job with your grammar and punctuation.
Please keep writing. I will be looking forward to future offerings from you.

A great image for a horror story. Lol.
Yes! By the age of adulthood most have been there.
Hunger will drive man to eat many things BUT I have
to admit I always err on the side of caution when it comes to food.
The story does stir unpleasant memories.
Well done in 150 words.

Wrote this one just for the fun of it. Some of my most recent writings have been on a much more serious note, and needed something light-hearted, so this was it. Glad you enjoyed it, and when it comes to food, it is always better to err on the side of caution. Montezuma's Revenge is no fun at all!

It is a nice short, but other than Johnny being a complete idiot, I'm not sure what the plot of the tale was. Perhaps I missed something.

This was written just for the fun of it. Some of my most recent writings have been on the very serious side and needed something light-hearted for a change. Glad you enjoyed this. Your comments and support appreciated.

So, you do understand posts written just for fun and not to be taken seriously. I wasn't sure.

Hi Brett,
This is a nice little story. Short and sweet and to the point. I enjoyed reading it and also seeing the mouse. They are so cute, but I'm still scared of them. LOL

Just enough said to make us wonder. What did Johnnie stuffed down that made him sick. Have that by accident years ago, instead of throw away some items pass their expiry date, I baked a bread, and made some deserts for the weekend, end up in emergency room with severe diarrhoea. Lol
