Brilliant idea, dear Geoff. Your meds caused this? It's must've been something crazy going on with a chemical reaction. I have heard of Stranger Things.

Thank you for sharing and a pleasure as always. Blessings for your day,

Sally XOs....

I didn't see this before. I like the poem. It tells an interesting story. It seems the letters on the keyboard disappearing. I assume they are wearing off from constant use. It sounds like the clear fingernail polish was a good idea. I don't quite understand how wearing gloves helped until the acid in your hands was causing them to fade. I've never had that problem.

I still feel like the keys fade much too soon just from constant use. But after I finish this I need to put the gloves on again. Thanks for coming by.

I obliterated all the letters of one keyboard with overuse but I know where all the letters are because I can touch type so only I could use the keyboard! I think I shall buy a keyboard with blank keys from now on, a fun post, love Dolly x

Thanks Dolly. Not a pro typist here so I need the letters, sigh! Thanks for coming by. Seems a few of you missed this before the Addendum was added, today. Thanks again.

Great poem! It is always nice to know how other people solve problems and what are the internals to the final results. This poem is a dedication to find a solution to what other do not consider it "a problem". But you put your art in this writing and the result are easily found: You find a "first recognition" from the more that are coming around the corner.

I understand your pain, I myself had to guess the letters when I was typing in a different language, and is not fun. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

Great poem, well done. A very original thought to make a poem about this problem with keyboards you have had for so many years! Very cleverly done. Sounds like you love writing!

Ah well alas, mate you are way off! The contest was long over. I failed as I did not follow the original rules. But I needed to get it out with some new rhymes and more verses now things have finally been sorted. Thanks.

Hello Sankey
What a fun rhyming poem about your experience with the missing numbers and letter on your computer key, and the clever solution that you computer tech came up with, Gert

Thanks Gert for coming by. You can see the original pic of me with my gloves on but I like the new solution much better. Mustang Patty says she replaces her Wireless Keyboard and Mouse every couple of years so I look forward to doing that too if necessary, from now on. Maybe I will get more time out of these now, ha.

This is a very well written rhyming poem about your missing keys and how the problem was solved. You used very good rhymes, words and imagery from the art work. Blessings, Teri

This is a great poem, Geoff, and rather funny as well. I'm sorry you've been through so many keyboards and I'm glad you've found the solution to the problem. I enjoyed the read. All the best. Ulla:))

Thanks Ulla. Mustang Patty said she replaces hers every so many years. I am looking forward to not having to do it so often, now. Thanks again!
