Well the turn of the poem
From the ships in passing norm
To the meeting in frantic life
A strange encounter in the flight

So it is to hold the truth
Life is like a voyage at times
Strange encounters made like winds
Passing through lives with sails open

Dear Dan, thanks for your review and the five stars. Your words are so on target with this, which surprises me somewhat, given the random happening that promoted it and the casual Impulse that caused me to post it.Well done cheers Cass

I thought this was well written. I'm not sure about the line about seagulls "winging". Is that a word? I understood the meaning but it just sounded off. Outside of that though this was a well written poem. Beautiful imagery. Great job.

Thank you for your review and the five stars. this was written after I had been nearly knocked over by a man in the street, who hurried away with no word to me at all. The poem was in a folder with some very old work and I thought I had lost it.
"winging" is a word I have read in other works and so I felt safe in using it. Thanks again Cass
