A lovely sad love poem. It flows very well. The starkness of the colouring shows the sadness in your heart. Best wishes if this is a contest entry. I wouldn't change a thing.

Hi: What is the difference between a 5 start poem and a 6 star poem?

Just one star. 6 stars makes it exceptional and I think 5 stars makes it great. Fanstories lovely rating system. Unfortunately they do not give us enough 6 stars.

This is awesome! Good job getting the reader to feel the crushing sadness that the narrator feels. I also liked the alliteration in the beginning with "sweet sunshine smile". Nice use of poetic devices!
