This is a poem to make you think. It seems as if he is slowly emerging from a bout of dis-associative madness. These days, with the right medication it can be held in check.

It's as if you wrote that poem about me (Norma) it resonated with me so much! You told the story perfectly, having a conversation with "Norman" who blames everyone else and lives in the dark. I love how you explained that (what I call selfish bubble) as blinded by optimism, In a world by and for himself. Then....the denied inevitable collapse. How you go back and forth between the old and the new is so familiar, the social anxiety, the twisted reality, only you masterfully put it all into words. I think your creativity has probably come alive with the sunshine. "Step" in the right direction, as in 12 steps? I think it's the work of a genius!
