Nice work! "My eyeballs flip backwards in dream" sounds more direct to me than the rest of the work. Did you intend to highlight that and if so to what purpose? Maybe, "My mind, overshadowed in dream" or something less direct? I do like how you project your love for good food.

Plenty pits in my writes, but seem delighting given efforts, although not precise. I do a lot of revisions. Thanking you for your generous rate and splendid views.

You do write the most interesting poems, TPAC. The photograph of veggies and fruit piqued my interest immediately.
Excellent use of literary devices in your poem of cornucopia delight.
Thank you for sharing,
Gloria

I love fruits and vegetables they are my favorite and my mouth waters to see them. Some are so juicy it is hard to eat them, without making a mess, but the taste is oh so worth it. Such a perfect picture you painted with your words. Sherman541

Good photo looks like outdoor garden store will feed lots of hungry people. I've heard of people growing their own garden in their backyard and saving lots of money. Vegetables grow well like onions, greens, sweet potatoes, corn. Well written. liberty justice

The poem certainly drips with desire for the lusciousness of the beautiful produce. It speaks of letting go to the sights and smells of great food. I love the line, "tongue to drown in jucy employment." It perfectly captures the spirit of tasting a wonderful morsel. It certainly tantalizes the senses. Congratulations on being recognized.

I like this poem. Clever, humorous depiction of human appetites. I like--"A grip on my tummy" and "my eyeballs flip backwards". Those are great images. You would think they are exaggerated, but they are not. Good job.

Good Luck!
