So beautifully written. It flows off the tongue like water. The artwork is perfect for this poem. By far you are one of my favorite writers. Please keep writing and sharing.

What a very good poem about a little bird coming to your window. I can just picture it peeping in and watching TV with you, and taunting your dogs.
I like the way the poem looks, too. It's short and choppy like a little bird hopping around and pecking. Great job,
Rhonda

Good job! I like your poem. It has good rhythm and a nice flow. The format is attractive and easy to read. I don't see anything to change is perfect the way it is.

Hi. This is a sweet little poem tracking the regular appearance of a small bird at your window. Another explanation could be that he is checking out his reflection in the glass - many birds do that.
It will be interesting to see if he keeps coming, especially if you start feeding him.

Thank you.
It makes a better explanation. If he was watching me, once would have been enough.
Even birds have good taste. Funny! will he think the crumbs are in good taste?

Seed probably better...

Are birds people-watchers? CBAT raises this implicit question in her minimalist birdsong. Each four-line stanza hops to the next, like a bird on the ground. The poet's "crumby" invitation to her volant visitor makes us all wonder what will happen next in this mini-drama. As a fellow "birdbrain" -- I have written many haiku on various birds -- I give this poem five tweets. Thank you, CBAT.

Thank you, you make me laugh.

To CBAT:
I like to make people smile. Poets, even vile versifiers like me, are, or should be, entertainers, at some level. Also, to me words and languages are inherently funny, in different ways.
