A true sign of real love. Seeing past the exterior of a person to find their inner self, and that being the much preferred one. Simple little poem with an important message. This was well done indeed.

People don't really change, just their appearance. I liked this poem as the poet is saying this in a very nice way. It must be a man talking about his woman lol. Thank you for sharing.

My wife hits 65 in a few weeks. I tell her she's lovely and I think she's sexy. OK, the eyes aint so good, but the love is and love comes with rose coloured glasses. Your lovely little poem expresses this perspective by reiterating a thought from your early years together: Wow, what a beautiful woman!
It's what every man in love for real should think. And if she is a truly good woman and you her equal, that beauty will last as long as you live.
I just loved your simple, bold and poignant ending:
When I look at you now, today
I still think the same
This was so enjoyable to read and cogitate over. I liked the sketch; very suitable.
