This was nice to read Brett and if only the moon could give advice we may be in a better space. I like this poem because it flowed and rhymed well. ( and I learnt about a strawberry moon in June) thank you nice image also. cheers Christineð???

Well written poem with aabb rhyme scheme! The description of the different scenes that the moon takes in are touching and sad! The anguish of a lost soul, starving children, impoverished lands, wars and pestilence are so true! I really enjoyed the mountain's majesty and the fairy castles on the beach. Your conclusion that the moon with its bright illumination will show us the way! I enjoyed your poem and all of the facts about the strawberry moon!

Brett, what a lovely poem about the full moon, I did not know the June full moon was known as the strawberry moon.
Thanks for that bit of trivia. Patricia

Very thoughtful poem. The moon is a beautiful sight and it affects my energy levels and my moods so perhaps it dies see more than we realise
Thank you for sharing this happy yellow poem

Observing the marvels of our planet does give cause to contemplate the ills of the world and hope that things could improve. Well chosen imagery and rhymes to convey your thoughts. Faye

They originally about the size of the end of your little pinky. Agri - brought them to be as they are today. Love the photo and the poem speaks loudly. Thanks for sharing.
