This is such a sweet poem you've composed here for dear Brooke, Connie. It's delightfully cheerful, and filled with vivid imagery of one of the things she holds most dear when she chooses to write...fairies. I loved this light and lilting verse, and I have no doubts that Brooke will as well.

Connie, I know exactly what you mean. I too noticed the absence of Brooke's poems and reviews, and sent a note to her, which still remains unanswered, so I knew something must be wrong, but haven't yet discovered what. I have been absent much for some weeks, too, but manage an appearance every few days at least... if only to read what my friends are posting. I'm doing pretty well, thank you. And you?

You mentioned that you hadn't yet discovered what was wrong with Brooke. Apparently, she has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of MS and is currently in a nursing home. I believe it all happened quite suddenly, which is somewhat surprising with that particular illness. I believe that she is receiving medication that might help her condition improve. We'll keep her in our prayers.
