I thought this fulfilled the prompt so well and also sent an important message. I can't think of anything I would change. Best of luck in the contest~

Thoughtful expression poet in this write capturing as Holy Text instructs believers serve honey instead of salt, I believe something close to this stated fact. Anywho, my youth expression, poet conveyances in work well structured, clear and precisely defined to content

Thanks TPAC for your review on this. So easy to give a compliment or a few simple words of comfort to someone, sometimes it can resonate for years, cheers

Lovely poem. I could feel the compassion and you are entirely correct with how to show it. I think I would have used a much more subtle flower to enhance. But, that is person choice. Nice poem. livelylinda

Thanks for the review livelylinda. They say people will not remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel. A simple compliment or word of comfort can resonate for years and I think that is pretty cool. Oh yes, that flower, I spent way too much time looking for an illustration for this one, hah, cheers

They say that people won't remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel. I always try to compliment whenever I can and love the little spark I can see from that simple act. One comment, good or bad, can stay for years with someone. How easy it is to just reach out to someone for a second with a word of comfort or a meaningful compliment. The joy of that simple gesture can last for years. Thanks for the review Mystic Angel, cheers

-Lovely artwork for your poem.
-You followed the directions in the prompt and did a good job with the word limit.
-I like how you divided the words into stanzas.
-You also made it one flowing sentence.
-You chose a good topic that is meaningful.
-The first line is a good way to begin the poem and the ideas flow from there.

As you said in this well written poem compassion is gentle but can mean so much to somebody who is going through a difficult time. Fifteen words are not many to make such a clear point but you accomplished this matter very well.

Thank you for the kind review Brett. Sometimes a timely word or hug can be remembered for years. Like they say....people will forget what you said, but they will remember the way you made them feel. cheers
