I had no idea you returned from your hard-working life. I imagine you've produced another book, promoted it or others, and maintained your family business. And by the way, great poem writing.

Heeeey, Nicole. Where are you these days? I feel you have other goals that do not include much time here. Is that correct? It's good to know you are around, too.

A lovely poem for a lovely lady who has a beautiful soul. She sees beauty in everything she sees, and has the talent to put that beauty into words to share with us all. I hope your poem lifts her spirits.

Thank you for reading this poem. Nicole.

that is the question that would be most popular between us on fs. I know I asked it. Nice comparisons to show impossible. But some did strive to put down their words.
well done, Brooke will get a kick out of this poem

That is a gorgeous picture. I love the colors. This is a nice message to Brooke. I agree with you, how can we possibly write poems for Brooke when she is the master. Nobody can come close to her talent. She taught me everything I know about poetry. My first feeble attempts must have been laughable. However, she is the most kind and encouraging teacher I have ever met. She will love all our attempts :)

Thanks, Chris. I struggled with this one. I'm not a great poet.
Cheers

I love this one, Nicole. What brilliant questions. How do you write poems to the poet who teaches it as well? You put it perfectly and it came out brilliantly and I think it will tickle Brooke when she reads it. :) Sandra xsx

Thanks, Sandra. I tried to write a poem for her, but just could not. Because...how do you write a poem for a poet? !

She will love what you have written, Nicole. There are many different messages, and yours stands out. :) xx

Love this, Nicole. Sweet - like a children's poem, almost.
What happened to Brooke? Yikes I have been out of circulation, haven't I?

Thanks, Sonali.
I heard through the FS grapevine that she has an acute onset of serious MS. Perhaps she will be in need of future care, not sure.

So it wasn't something that was announced? How awful and sad for her.

I am not all that familiar with poems but I enjoyed reading this one. It is nice and easy to read. The rhyming flowed nicely as well.
Very enjoyable!

Thanks. It is written as a tribute to Brooke Baldwin. She has been a FS tutor and top poet on this site for a great number of years.

Thanks for writing this for Brooke! Hope you are well.
I like the overall message of the poem, that Brooke "overflows" with poetry as money pours from a millionaire. The somber visual works well, too, as does the poem's meter.
In revision, you might consider a slightly darker background color--the current orange background seems too bright, a little hard on the eye.
Thank you for sharing. Have a good weekend.
