Thank you for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts. Since I have not been on FS very long, I was still impacted by the news of her health.

I enjoyed your subtle rhyme scheme in this poem for Brooke, she will really appreciate that. You got to know her well in the short space of time you have been here, it is the way Brooke is, she welcomes everyone and always has a nice thing to say about our work. Not once in all the years I've known her has she said anything other than nice things. Her love of Nature and her grandson Sawyer, and her daughter, Miranda, are the joys of her life, and just comes ahead of her love of writing and reading poetry. I will miss her on here, she has helped me a lot. I am glad you got to know her enough to write such a lovely poem in tribute to her. It is beautiful. :) Sandra

Thank you so much for reading my poem and sharing your thoughts. I think she will be so surprised at how so many have been involved in the project and all the creativity produced. I am glad you liked the picture. I saw a short video about Glacier National Park, Montana, on t.v., and loved how beautiful it was.

My definition of poetry is that it is the language of the soul. For sure there have been some soul connections made on this wonderful site. Your words describe one of the best. May the collective efforts of her friends and fans cheer her own as she faces this battle.

Brooke has become a major reason I have stayed on FS for so long. Her encouragement, helpful suggestions and constant encouragement is beyond my ability to describe. I pray she regains her health and returns to us. We miss her everyday and I pray that she gets better and we can once again enjoy her beautiful poems.
