A very delightfully expressed poetic portrayal of you need for Brooke's presence on this site. Very well written aabbcc rhymed sestets, except for send and again. That kast line could easily rhyme with send, like friend.

I never go into the forums and was unaware of the seriousness of her illness. It just breaks my heart. I pray that she gets better and returns to us, those that love her and her poems. I miss her dearly.

She must have been feeling unwell for a long time before this and yet never let it beat her so I have to think the diagnosis is the first hurdle to getting her well once again. We must have nothing but positive thoughts as that is the source of all healing.

Thank you, Bill. You are right that sometimes there is angst in the knowing BUT if we all join together in good wishes sent her way perhaps the outcome will be a happy one. I shall focus m thoughts and prayers in that positive direction.

I dropped Brooke a note after I read about her ailment.
You are right, however, combined good wishes and prayers will help in her recovery!
She shall certainly be in my thoughts from now on...

Wow, terrific poem, Mystic Angel. In excellent meter and rhyme. Brooke will be smiling and tapping her foot in approval.

There is one very small typo for you to fix: add "at" before "night" in the last stanza. Brooke is very special to so many of us whom she has friended and mentored. I had to register it again too which kind of threw me BUT I would jump through rigs of fire for Brooke so a couple of extra clicks was no big deal LOL.
