What a nice reminder of all the little touches of kindness that make Brooke the special person she is. She is a dear teacher and such an excellent poet. I miss her daily offerings. With the illness she has, I just hope she recovers enough to keep writing the poetry she loves for a while longer. She is such an inspiration.

Frolic and fun poured out in every line stitched with love memories of teacher and student. I am sure she is very proud of you. May the composition fill her and bring healing within.

Brooke told me she had degenerative arthritis, I was unaware that she had aggressive MS and was in the hospital. My heart just breaks. I miss her terribly and pray she gets better and returns to us, she is missed dearly.

Yes, aggressive MS is quite serious and my heart is just broken knowing Brooke and her dear family are going through this terrible time.

your essay, the genesis of your poems and the poems themselves buzz with heart, especially eating all those cupcakes. Brooke is the warm matriarch of the site and you have captured her essence. I am sure this will give her a warm glow.

Thank you so much, Ed. I miss Brooke so much as it appears so, so many of us do. My guess is everyone's poetry, thoughts and smiles all wrapped up in colourful bouquet will make her glow.
Appreciation my friend.

I am sure Brooke will enjoy reading this one, Joy, and I can see her laughing at the bumble bee flying home for 'Happy hour!' LOL. It's nice to write happy poems for her, she will not want to read depressingly sad ones. This will be sure to put a big smile on her face. :) Sandra xsx

Thank you so much for your terrific review, Sandra. I hope Brooke laughs. I've never shared the bumblebee poem before, except with my thirty year old twin girls and they thought it was hilarious -- in a good way. At least that's how I'm going to take it. LOL.
Appreciation to you,
Gloria

How wonderful to have twins, are they identical? I am sure they do both think it funny, in a nice way, I know I did. :)

A lovely piece for Brooke to read when she feels better, Gloria. I loved your counting poem with the cupcakes! I'm sure that will make her laugh, and your bumble bee's happy hour sure made me grin.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

I think the bumblebee likes its cups just a little too much. Thank you so kindly for your warm review, Karyn. I'm so encouraged to read all the poems wishing Brooke and her family well. You are terrific.

this is a beautiful tribute to brooke. Gloria. I didn't know that she had MS. like you said in your poem, she is a beautiful soul, an earthbound angel. I will try to check out the forum.
