This was a very unique and interesting poem. Your words portrayed the intensity of the fall and the anxiety felt by your subject. It was a very good read and a delightful surprise ending.

One thing, fate and circumstance pervade our existence, but eternity remains which I believe is the poem's patter, it reminds a little like the book of Ecclesiastes. Which appears as fatalistic and filled with downbeat assertions of vainglory, all that is written or spoken, has been before, all is in vain. But well done, a well written, declaration of irony and Destiny's predilection, well done, enjoyable, blessings, Roy.

I enjoyed reading.......Life Change-A chapter in the book Endurance-Downward Fall: Story Poem. I agree with you, in life we all teach eachothers. I think you did a good job with your poem.

Perhaps this is over my head. I tried reading it more than once but got stuck when sometimes it says "I'm" and then another just says "I" where it felt like "I'm" would work (for clarity). Still I'm giving full credit just in case I'm not familiar enough with story poems...will research further.

This poem has a good premise. A few hiccups with wordage but possibly my choice is different but not the poet's voice. One can feel the anxiety of the character but eventual acceptance.

This is yet another interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. Many people have dreams of falling down. My dream is about floating.

Another of your excellent offerings. A leaf? A soul? Or planet earth as time runs out? Although not sure of the interpretation I suspect the artwork is a fine compliment to the message itself.

Thanking you for generous rate and kind comments. With so much silence surrounding poetry. I feel most our notes will never be heard. So I will hold my notes and sing them in my heart

Hi Tpac, what an absolutely brilliant free verse poem and all about the life of a leaf, wonderful use of description, fantastic imagery and a great flow to your words my friend.

Like working with a tooth pick on granite.
What you read, a finished product since I
joined group. You guys made this dream so.
Hope you guys, do not leave me, to end the
project. Need someone to blame. Great
comments, now I know this is a free verse.
I have a lot of associates; but few friends.

I felt this poem ran away from me when I read it aloud. There was no point, but I think that was the point. Everything going out of control was the message I felt. Thank you for sharing.

All which was said. Magnificent. Honesty does have its rewards. And once I get all these needles out my back. I am going to smile. Too generous, with rate but completely delighted by comment.
