How sad. It's always sad when someone so young dies. Do you know the cause? Just curiosity.

Your poem's a lovely tribute to an actor not too well-known in the U.S.

Thanks for sharing your feelings, Geoff.

Thanks for coming by. He was a Canadian. Many children would have read L M Montgomery's AOGG books. We all loved the shows when they went to air.

He was still quite young. I was a fan of Anne of Green Gables. I had not heard about his death. Thank you for sharing it with us in such a good read.

Hi Barbara appreciate you coming by. I was surprised there was nothing on our news bout it. Wondering if they were allowing Canadian news people to run it first as he was Canadian. We both loved AOGG and LM Montgomery was a great writer as well.

Very good flow. The words were descriptive and the storyline was well written. I thought you did and excellent job with your rhyming words and that it helped the reader sail through the poem.

Hi, Geoff...

Always so sad to see someone pass at such a young age.

This was a very nice tribute to him. Also says a lot for his acting ability when he/she is remembered for a specific part.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'.... Jax (*:*)

Thanks Sis. Surprising how so few remember AOGG and especially Jonathan. He was a major part of that series. He was also on the stage they said.

Nice tribute. Well written. Descriptive language added much more depth to this poem. Sure he would approve of your devotion. Write on.

Thanks friend. We were surprised there was nothing on our news here. Wondered if they wanted to give Canada first spread, being a Canadian actor.

Such a loss and at a young age too. Anne of Green Gables was a hit in your country?
I regret not seeing it. No doubt it was entertaining to keep your interest. Thanks for sharing, Bro.

Hi Bro it was a Canadian production. Typically there has not been much publicity of Jonathan's passing. A lot of us loved him. AOGG was a terrific series. Also a lot of testimony In it. LM Montgomery had a lot of fact in her fictional story on AOGG. She married a Presbyterian Minister but not sure if she was actually a born again believer. Thanks for coming by.

Life has no definitive end. We all die when our time comes. Death is no respecter of persons This is very well written. Life will continue to move on.

Thanks Bro we loved the series too. LM Montgomery married a Presbyterian Minister but I can't say, while she had a lot of what we might say was witness in her works, whether she was actually saved. She had a lot of fact in her stories. For example she spoke of old Father Chiniquy that became a protestant and I know of Charles Chiniquy's work in Temperance after he got out of the RCC.

G'day Geoff. That is a great tribute to him mate, he was indeed a great actor. I don't ever get any news here and I have to wait for you to post about it to know, that happened last time as well with something I think. What did he die from, such a young man. Cheers Fez

He died of a brain haemorrhage. We would call that Cerebral Haemorrage. Thanks for coming by. They never even mentioned it on our news here tonight either. I got this from a link someone put on Face book earlier today.
