I look forward to reading these... when I think of water... of rain, of the sea... I think of pantoums... I think of hurricanes (being in Texas, growing up in Florida)... I think of Oil... I think of tides... the changing of seasons... I think of the Moon and its relation to the sea... and you talk of sea life being ruled by tides... also, humans are ruled by the rising and setting of the sun, as well as the phases of the moon... (something to think about). :)
Can't wait to read your work!

What a marvelous idea for a collection of poems! I shall follow the ebb and flow of work as I am able, and look forward to the voyage.

When i worked at Lockheed Martin, I worked on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. Google it. It's doing well chasing pirates to their lairs. An ambitious project. I!m sure it will be awesome. Love the concept. Great introduction. You know that I'll appreciate and even imitate the various styles. I congratulate you on this fabulous adventure.

Thank you so much for this. I will google the LCS project. How interesting to meet up with someone who has worked on it. I wish you success with your experimentation with the various forms, They are great fun to play around with.

I must say this project sounds wonderful I loved the many aspects of the littoral that you have encompassed, but more especially the ambitious challenge to write in so many challenging formats. The variety should make for a very good
balance. Writing this foreword is clever as you whet readers appetite for what's to come. Best of luck with your work.

Thank you for your kind review. I hope you will come back for more as they are posted. If you refer to the contents list you will see that there are two already posted. 'Tiny King Crab' and 'Low Water Springs'. Thanks too for pointing out the dreaded SPAG. I will address this.

It would be more interesting if this prose was turned into poetic form. You have set forth a monumental task, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor.

Oh you are a hard taskmaster! This is purely an appetiser for the meal to follow. Mind you I could break it up into lines and call it 'Free Verse!' Thanks for the review though, and the stars.

G'day mate. Now you have me excited! If this is a brilliant as the last series then I won't miss a word. Perhaps you should whack in some of the "invasions" by sea such as Australia and all the other indigenous nations that were taken over, US, Africa. This is a huge area and I'm looking forward to it. Bring it on! Cheers Fez

Thanks again for another fine review. As to the additional inclusions, you may have a point but I don't want to make this collection overlong. Perhaps there's another collection of war poetry out there. We'll have to see!

Great work, a start in this direction is worthy to praise nature. I am poor in analyzing the technical part of poetry. But, I am impressed by the deep areas of English poetry that you have touched into.
Keep touching the challenges of human kind in Poetry, All the best and the book a good success.

I wish you the very best with your book. Looking at the title of the poems to be in the book, I am sure the readers will have a pleasant treat. One thing that impresses me is you will be posting many differ poetry formats. That shows me you are always open for a challenge. Patricia

You had me scrambling for the dictionary, looking up Littoral. It also reminded me of a bit in psalms, "Those who go down to the sea in ships" Ps. 107:23. Some of Psalms are reputedly long before the Jewish exileto Babylon in 600 BC. Well done, I look forward to this collection, nicely done, blessings, Roy.

Your introduction to your book interests me. It has captured my own imagination and wonder in the stories you have experienced or dreamed up. I am intrigued, and interested to read more.
