Ha! A great twist. Loved this. I'd vote for it if I didn't have my own entry and a giant ego. :))
I noticed in your comments in the booth you mentioned you couldn't vote for yourself. Yes, you can! That rule was changed last year and you can vote for yourself now. Thought I'd let you know for future contests. Now I always get at least one vote. Good luck with this. A strong entry! mikey

I also felt voting for myself was unfair. But, thanks for your comments and support. This was my very first contest entry on this site so kind of anxious to see how I stack up against you old pros.

We all vote for ourselves. It's more or less a way to watch the vote and torture ourselves as the results come in. Don't put too much importance on these things, you never know what the voters will do and the best piece is often not the winner. A lot of great work gets overlooked. Never let contest results bring you down. We've all ended up in last place with a great piece of poetry. mikey

Been writing way to long, including Country Music songs nobody wanted, and turned down way too many times, to have some contest I don't win bring me down.
