Your poem describes Fanstory writers so well. I am an amateur and expect to always be one. I write for the fun of it and enter contests for the competitive side of me. I do like reading other people's works - for pure enjoyment. Well written. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks friend can't remember if we have met before, possibly have. If you have not done so check out my wife's stories about our trip across Australia. Look for Tootsie55 suggest starting at the beginning to learn about us, but therre are still some later chapters with rewards on em.

hey Sis this was generated from a trite review of one of Louise's later chapters about our trip across Australia. people need to understand our situation to appreciate why we do what we do. Had a lot of great responses top this rant. I love some of the fiction on FS believe me. Thanks for coming by.

You're welcome. Some of the reviewers must fail to take into consideration that people write for different audiences and with different purposes. It's not fair to judge them all by the same standards. judi

I have no idea why the 'know it all's' think they have to rip somebody's work apart. It's sad and just not right. I enjoyed reading your poem and the artwork you chose is adorable.

Thanks Barbara and you know very well I have loved all your fiction. So much of it has been tied into a lot of history and legend and folk lore etc. Appreciate you coming by. this was generated from a review of Louise's trip stories. I wish people would start at the beginning and learn more of who we are. cheers and thanks.

For me FS is an encouragement. I get to write and know my work is seen by some and some appreciate my words enough to comment. F/B on the other hand is not real encouraging as so many there just seem to want there picture to always be showing.

yeah F/B is just a photo opportunity sis. I get so frustrated when husbands and wives or "partners" hate that word, chat to each other on face book. Or stupid girls post useless drivel to each other. got me going here..I hate the tongue poking photos too! Thanks for coming by try and get to more of your poems soon.

Must agree with the poet. Fan Story is made up of all kinds. One must bless those who try to be something they are not. Those who wish to profit from mistakes can do so, others just fade away.

It is always difficult to gauge to what extent those who post here are seeking constructive criticism or just a wider audience for their poems. In either case appreciation and encouragement rank well above pedantry. As we get to know each other better we are able to respond with greater empathy and understanding.

Thanks new friend. appreciate your comments. have to look for your stuff. I don't mind fiction. I have a lot of favourite writers in here. trouble is the fiction writers want something that is just a diary of events to look like dome sort of drama or novel. To each their own I guess.

Thanks mark. Not sure we have met before. I appreciate your spot on comment. Hope to find some of your stuff later. this was a rant generated from a review of some of my wife's trip stories. Look for Tootsie55 if interested. We just finished a bunch of stories on a big trip across our land of Australia. She wrote I proofread and put them up and added the pictures.

Others who just criticise without construction, well done bro, I hope I never do that, Christ suggested we minister grace not judgement, encouragement no criticism, well done, nicely compiled, some nice rhyme and cadence that was very even, well bro Geoff, blessings, Roy.
