For #1: I think the Hooker said it all.
#2: The youngest daughter needs to know that she IS worth the time of getting better. That even though she drank it didn't give him the right to do what he did. The eldest daughter needs a reality check. She's trying to play the victim card when she isn't really the victim here. You and your husband need to talk. Talk about why you didn't tell him right away. There is no book on how to deal with a situation like this and each situation is different. Good luck
#3: Your son should be proud of who he is. I know you're husbands reaction may not be good but encourage your son to tell him. He doesn't have to necessarily tell him about the AIDS thing right away. He can start to break the news slowly or hell you can do it all at once and just get it over with. That's what I tend to do. Lay it all out there and deal with each issue one by one. Who knows, maybe, just maybe, since it's your son, your husband might not be as mad. I hope you told your son just how proud you are of him. It's nothing to be ashamed of. I go to church and we actually have gay couples there. You don't pick who you love. One of the guys at my church said it best: If I can be married and miserable they should be able to be too. Why do they get an out because they are gay.....He is a very religious man and I was surprised to hear him say that but it made me laugh.
I'm so sad this is almost over....Are you going to pick it back up later?

Why is next weeks your final post? I really enjoy reading these and I think you ladies are doing a wonderful job writing this. I guess it may not be exactly what FS wants, but who cares? I sure don't.

We were using FS as a test to see how it would be received. We now want to promote it to newspapers and magazines in the hope of getting published.

Most entertaining Tres Amigas in the mind set of dear Abby and Ann Landers but I have one that has not been addressed yet and Smurphgirlsasha knows just what it is this gang that has been after me for over four and a half years even the cops appear to be in it with them as I've been wrongfully institutionalized for following the authorities orders/advice and now my hands are tied because I am not able to call 911 unless I can produce probable cause, now mind you I do suffer with a chemical imbalance but please know I am not crazy by far, feedback would be most appreciated....Cranial Thinker

Thanks for the high marks for this one. I will talk to the co-writers and see what we can come up with to respond to you question...one that clearly needs an answer.

This weeks questions were full of substance, a lot of meat on the bones.
You all stood the course and answered based on your life's experiences and beliefs. Each had plenty of merit.
I'll miss this series. John

Hello, Sasha
Very interesting to read the viewpoints. To me it appears that the librarian is able to find the silver lining in a gray could more so than the Hooker and the Cynic...but the latter two individuals appear to have a more down-to-earth approach tempered by their life experiences.
As always, enjoyed the post!
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

Thanks. We are three different people with three different perspectives on a lot6 of things.
Comment from Jennpenn
Excellent, timely issues. The advice from all three "amigas" is different, but equally helpful, allowing readers to see that there are many acceptable ways to solve problems. Well done.

Dear Sasha & team, these are difficult questions asked and I thought your answers to them were well thought out, you could read the 'care' within your responses - and that to me makes this a success....it gets the mind thinking. Skillfully penned as all your work is.
Thanks for sharing,
Maureen

Thanks so very much. I value your opinion and am pleased you liked this series.

I love this idea, it really made me chuckle. The cynic has by far the strongest voice. I experienced too much similarity in tone between the hooker and the librarian at times. After I saw your self portrait and comment about that, which I thought was brilliant, I would have expected more. The hooker statement in the last response is more what I would have liked to have heard from the hooker throughout. 'He is an uneducated idiot!' yes! I would have loved the hooker to be more colourful and the librarian even more pinned up. I think you could be more playful with this (only my opinion)
otherwise (hallelujah!) strong grammar and clear comprehensible writing. Bring more za za zoom please!

We only plan one more post of this series. These were difficult questions that we took quite seriously and I will admit, we occasionally do view things from the same point of view. Since we take the questions quite seriously, we try to respond in a helpful manner and not with the intent of providing entertainment...while I will admit, entertainment is not a bad thing.

Oh ok, I didn't realise they were real questions, I thought the whole thing was made up :)
take care K

Excellent advice given by the cynic in case one. I think the writer should be satisfied with the overview from all Amiga's but she has a difficult problem and I don't envy her or him.
Case two: Excellent advice given by the Hooker, but overall very worthwhile advice for Mum. I admire her for reporting the incident and only she knows why she didn't tell her husband but men can sometimes be loose cannons.
Case three: Oh boy, you sure get some curley problems. I take my hat off to all of you for your quality of suggestions and advice. I admire your ability. I'm awarding a six for the quality of advice given for these three problems.
I won't be asking any questions because I haven't got the confidence; however I do wish you all the best in your endeavours, and I would recommend anyone with problems to go ahead and write to the 3 Amigas.

Thanks so much for the compliment. We found these questions quite challenging but that is what we wanted. Thanks so much for the awesome 6 stars, we sincerely appreciate them.
