This is a well thought-out informative piece. I liked the fact that you included some humor into this very serious and importance subject: Some minor changes:
money to get prescriptions filled for OCD(,) and bi-polar (Bipolar) mental problems-
if your favor cliches(,) and metaphors. Remove comma
When you Wish Upon a Star." (' W')
The government claims that 100,000 or more jobs are added, in the work force every month, but they fail to say they are spread over 50 States, and most are at minimum wage level, without benefits. This sentence is very long, consider breaking it up into several sentences.

the work force - do you mean workforce?

I love that particular dinner LOL
the narrator is forthright about the situation he/she is in
good social/political commentary
with strong illustrative examples
don't cry for me, Argentina - add comma for direct address
good use of the Waterfront reference
and of the Brother song
