Sometimes people live in a fantasy world because it's safer there. I wrote a poem about my fantasy world. There is nothing wrong in it, however, you cannot live there forever. Eventually, reality does have to set back in.

Hi stranger where ya bin? Thanks for coing by. I was inspired to write this because of a review my wife got for her Trip Stories. have you been over there yet? We opened a special account Tootsie55 so she could write all our trip stuff I only write chapters 1 and 3 I would suggest goin g back to the start so you understand more of where we are coming from I just proofread and put them up except as I said for chapter 1 and 3. Thanks again have not seen you in a long while.

Hey, I've been busy. I got a wild hair and ripped the kitchen counter top tiles off and replaced them. Now the back splash looks crappy so I'm getting going on that and then of course, the cabinets look bad so I'll stain those. I'll certainly check out your wife's trip stuff. It sounds like fun reads. thanks new friend actually I think we have met your name looks familiar. Appreciate your review anyway. My wife is writing about our trips in Australia if interested this was where the poem came from. Check Tootsie55 if you wish suggest starting at the beginning. I wrote Chapters 1 and 3 the rest is hers good to read from start to understand our disposition as disabled folks. I do proofreading and putting up of her stories as I said except Chapters 1 and 3 I wrote. Cheers.

The poem makes a comment on both writers and reviewers. There are arrogant writers who cannot take criticism and there are reviewers who are picky and discriminating. So the losers are the amateurs who are denied good constructive comments. How true.

I once gave 4 stars to a writer who took it so badly, his response became more like a personal attack! LOL. So we have encouraging reviewers and we have "up in the cloud" ones but we also have self-righteous writers who cannot take criticisms and reviews below 5 stars.

Hi new friend. I have had the below five reviews but they get swamped by the fives so I don't let them worry me. I have had below fives that after I do some correcting they come back and up the points! yay! I appreciate the great bunch of reviewers I have on FS. Some initially hurt but then when I go back and look I see they are right in their suggestions and fix stuff. This poem happened because of a review of my wife's stuff she is doing on FS. I encouraged her to come on FS to write about our trips in our country of Australia. I only wrote 2 of her chapters myself Ch 1 and 3 if you are interested in checking her stories I suggest starting at the beginning to learn about our dispositions look for Our Trips on Tootsie55. I do all the proof reading and putting up on her own account. Thanks for your great review.

Hi Les good hearing from you. As a lot of the reviewers have stated on here a lot of us write for fun. I am getting near the end of my autobiography that I am pretty sure you have looked at. This poem came out of a review of my wife's Trip stories she is doing on Tootsie55 I r=encouraged her to come on FS and write about our trips as she did not want me to "steal her thunder" and mention too much about our trips in my Autobiography "The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go" so she is doing that. I have encouraged folks if interested in reading about our trips on her account to start at the beginning I wrote chapters 1 and 3 only I just proofread and put up all her stuff. For example, I got a 2 star review on one of mine last week that you gave me a 6 star on and so did 14 other people give me six. When I checked the profile it was a "standard member" (non paying). Mate when you get a 2 to 4 amongst a hoarde of 5's and 6's I say don't let it worry you. The low points won't count. Thanks for the review good buddy.

Excellent rhyme in this. I think most of the FS members are pretty nice, but some just expect to be crowned when they enter a contest or rise in the rankings. A few reviewers are wonderful and take the extra step to give helpful suggestions. I follow some novels, but if it's science fiction or fantasy, I usually stay away. It's hard to say why readers choose what they do, but I have observed that when they have to story of the month selection, most are fiction rather than non-fiction. Just keep at it. judi
