HA!!!! I can't tell you how delighted I am you managed to put artwork in a "no artwork" contest! This was great fun to figure out. I can't wait to see the reviews. You'll be surprised that along with dullards who ask, "what is this supposed to be?" there will be a few of us that will figure it out and enjoy it. It does remind me of my failure to ever catch a fish. That and failure to properly BBQ chicken has left me hanging out with girls my whole life. It's worked out well. :) Great piece. I don't want to commit my vote until everyone has entered, but I don't see anyone delighting me more! mikey

This was very creative and cleverly written! Love it and the way you created a fish with your words. I also like the parenthesis used to represent bubbles; topped it off and added to the entire work! Well done!

The presentation is extremely inventive and original - TOO MUCH so for me to get my head around the meaning, with respect.
I can't see a continuing story or a message, though I'm sure there are both if I tried to decipher it for long enough. :-)
It's certainly a work of art (which is excellent), but I see no poetry (required by contest) - either rhymed or free verse.
I truly appreciate your off-the-wall approach, but I'll leave it to the code-breakers to work out.
I hope you're not offended by my honesty, and perhaps I'm being dim.
You sure possess artistic creativity, and that's an asset the majority of us don't have.
Thought-provoking and entertaining post.

Read the bold lettering, left to right, starting at "fishing". Definitely a poem in there.
Now, a little secret - from me to you. This is actually about two things; fishing & contest rules that annoy the crap out of me. It's like a "What now?" to Mikey. Make any more sense knowing that? ;)
PS- Appreciate the review none the less, but no, I didn't expect everyone to pick up on what I was doing - just the one it was for (per se). ;)

Ouch. Read it again, please. What are you viewing it on btw? That does matter, although I tested it on my iPhone & my MAC, so it shouldn't but...
Maybe it's just me & my sarcasm out to get Mikey but... The four did surprise me, very much actually. It's okay though. It happens.

Sorry. You are right. When I enlarged my browser I could read your entry, and I have edited my rating to 5 stars. (I did recognize the sarcasm, though. Actually, I thought it was rather generous of Mikey to sponsor and pay for a contest that he could not enter--even though he made a couple of goof-ups in the instructions.)

Plus, it didn't say "no use of punctuation allowed", and those brackets are for clarification purposes (they represent the air he's blowing around about himself), therefore, proper use of punctuation. Tee-hee.
