That sounds like a fun place to be, but not for me. I'm tired of all the snow so I won't go. This is a happy, fun poem that I think kids will enjoy.

Great story line. The rhyme is very good and it flows smoothly. I found I smiling as I read, so for me, that's was a great sign I enjoyed this.

Everleigh sounds heavenly...at first I thought this would be fantasy ..some where around the bend from where Puff the magic dragon lived...but any where kids are playing happily it is truly magical. I loved your poem

This is a very sweet poem. I liked the picture you painted of a little village with white rooftops and kids playing out in the street. It reminded me of Christmas. Thank you for sharing.

strong rhymes
I like how you've made your refrain have the same end rhyme as the "b" lines
lovely descriptive detail
good steady iambic meter and enjambment make for a great cadence and flow when read aloud
excellent use of alliteration
road/allowed is a bit of a stretch for me
love the lighthearted, upbeat look at snow, which I've become a grump about
