It was due to daily struggle and other engagements.
But I'll try and review some before I sign off again.

I do have a question.
The word "Muses"
Is it pronounced the same as the word "Muse"?
Please enlighten me. I do not know, that's why I'm asking.
My intention is to learn from you, not to raise mockery or engage you in a challenge. Please understand and enlighten me...More so, say more about that word if you're willing. For I've seen the way some writers and poets use it. And sometimes it does baffle.

You bring up an excellent point. Muses would be two syllables as it implies more than one. But I was incorrect and should have used the singular form since I only speak of one writer. I have corrected it and thank your keen mind.

This tongue and cheek representation of what most Fan story writers are doing right now as I type this left me cracking up. Although I'm almost a year into my Fan story membership, I still don't get the frenzy that's occurring about ranking. I have over 30 post in my inbox and 90% are tremendous but there are some works that are not up to the quality I'm used to from these writers. Is quantity more important than quality? If so, what a shame.

I too have been amazed at the quality in most of the posts. Quality is more important. That's why I can't post but twice a week. Revise, revise, revise. Fortunately, I saved a few pieces for the new race.LOL

Very clever senryu, Shari. I like the multiple meanings of rank. Most fanstory folks are jammin' those keys like crazy now trying to pull together the six required post for a rank. I got one in so far maybe I'll hit my six within a week or three, I'm not gonna stress it.

All that haste to get on the leader board can indeed lead to "rank" results, as the work sometimes isn't the best.
