Daddy Long Legs? I have never seen this variety of Daddy Long Legs. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme. Interesting image.

You're very considerate if you take care not to drown them. I remember the endless song about the spider that climbed up the water spout. This is cleverly presented and has good rhyme and flow. I liked the bit about your wife wondering who you were talking to and it turns out the be the spider. Very enjoyable. judi

This is a delightful poem. We have daddy long legs here as well and they are not dangerous to human her e either You gave me a laugh with this and I was needing to laugh as i spent much of the day writing the story of my husbands last year of his life and his death, so it has been an emotional day for me.

Sounds as if they may be handy to have around the place. May ward off those bad ones. Thank you Bro, for sharing your writing with us. Blessings to you.

Thanks Bro if you can see some other reviews another Aussie said they are a danger to our big Huntsman spiders. Not harmful to humans at all more of an asset as you have deduced. Lord Bless.

Oh, Geoff, you're a man after my own heart. Yes, we have Daddy Long Legs here, too. You don't want to kill them (at least I don't) since they're harmless to humans, but they eat other spiders that are poisonous, like Black Widows. You have those there?

This was one good and funny poem, Geoff. Great Job. If I had a 6, you'd have gotten it for this one.

Thanks mate. I went back after I got dressed this morning but they had moved out. obviously lonely for someone else's "shower" company? Glad you liked. Not sure we have Black Wido will have to look that up.

Black Widows have red hourglasses on their big, juicy, round belly; I always thought they were deadly, but I've come to understand they can make you quite ill, but few die from their bite.

I have heard that they are deadly to the huge and imposing huntsman spiders that infest our house from time to time, they are in greater profusion in our toilet than in our shower, they seem to like sticky, wet places, well done with this one Goeff, getting and taking an opportunity to promote our fabulous "daddy long legs" is great, perhaps others might want to import? Well done, nicely scanned poem, I loved it, witty, blessings, Roy.

Thanks Bro I don't know who put the photo on of the Daddy Long legs on Fan art so not sure if he is not some other places as well as Down Under.

I had to laugh at this one! I wrote a pantomime on a similar theme a while back called 'There's a spider in the bathroom'. They seem to like the damp atmosphere. I have much trouble in trying to convince my wife that the daddylonglegs is a benign species and our friend, unlike the Redback!

Ha! So have we met before? Another Aussie person? I was wondering about the person who posted the photo in Fan Art I used whether they were also Aussies or whether the Daddy long loegs is in other countries as well? Thanks for coming by. Not sure we have met before.

I like this poem, but I must say I hate creepy crawlies. You must love them though. The thought of them in the same room gives me shivers, let alone the same bath. Great poem though. Thank you for sharing.

Hi new friend. Not sure if we have met before. Don't worry my wife has a severe fear of spiders even the poor old harmless Daddy Long legs. She has Cerebral palsy and feels the disadvantage of not be able to move quickly some place else. Appreciate you coming by.
