Aww, this is such a sweet story, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love how the characters are animals in this story, instead of humans. In a way, it kind of shows how everyone celebrates Christmas, and everyone cares about it. Good job.

How nice that you dedicated this to a friend, very cute story with all the flavourings a kid could want from a story. Good descriptions, cute sounding characters and names. Some good lessons for kids to learn from, too. I try to do that in my children's poetry, too. Most enjoyable. I spotted a few errors, hope you don't mind-Para 4, a webbed foot, Para 5, downcast. Para 9, should be. Para 24, every animal's......... Faye
