I guess they are just too busy, but it can be annoying. They get the money and maybe that's all they are really after. Who knows? Don't worry about it though. As long as you get reviews. Good thinking however.

I agree. When a person goes to the effort to read my work and respond, good manners tells me it is important to thank the reviewer and say a little something about the work.
The response doesn't have to be a book, just a one liner to show their thanks.

Yeah good one Sis. Just to know they appreciate what you have written. Even some reviewers come over a bit hard and when you go back and look again they have made some good suggestions.

This piece is well written.
the reasons some do not review are lack of time, kindness, shyness, just learning, etc.
Don't take it personally; it isn't meant to be.
It's just a choice and thank God we still have them!

Yeah I know we are all busy even a long time friend in here he gets so much stuff done and I love his writing he knew I was gonna write this one. I smacked his bottom I guess but he took it ok ha. Thanks for coming by.

Just a short thank you, mentioning maybe a little thing that's helped...or not, would be well-received.
On the other hand, some are so far up their own arses that anything other than glowing praise may not be welcome.

hehe Ray you nerver have a problem with replies from me. As I said to another reviewer above...one of my longest friends in here knew I was gonna write this and was convicted pre write ha. B ut I love his stuff and IN know he has trouble finding the time. Appreciate you coming by. Glad we are on the same page in some other aspects of your review as well. Ha!

Thanks Brooke appreciate your review long time friend. I wrote this on inspiration from a new friend who reviewed my other poem regarding rewards for reviews hehe. SHe felt like I should do a follow up to the other one I wrote ha. Sort of the other side I guess.
